So when XFERING why is all slots in your inventory-cashtab kept, yet your storage slots get reset?? I spent cash on getting those? why is storage slots the only slots to be reset

Because you're transferring your character and everything on them, not your storage. Storage will start at default on the world you transferred to because they're different worlds.
But that storage is on a specific character...................................
i used a 'Single character' - to purchase the storage with... so it should stay with the character i bought it on

storage isn't on 'a character', storage is world. unless you're a giant moron and you mean your inventory expansions, which isn't storage.

Lmao, try making a new character in the same world you bought/used the storage slot, and check the storage NPC.
It will likely have the same number of slots that your original character that bought the slot on has, but *gasp* you didn't buy/use a storage slot coupon on that new character.
Because:
storage isn't on 'a character', storage is world.
dude, Inventory slots are character bound, Storage slots are World bound. You jumped to a different world that you didnt use storage slots on, that means you only have the basic amount of slots available.
it doesn't matter that you only got them on 'a single character' cause the storage system (and whatever you have in it) is bound to the world you were playing in.
Here is the tip, the absolute taste shop sell 8 slots coupon, you got 7-8 days to do them on each of your chars and use them for storage slots. literally you only need about 15 chars? Getting 300 coins, buy slots coupon. There you go.

is there a video to show an efficient way to do this? i've stayed away from this event for the most part but maxing the storage of my mules seems like a good idea

I think you can buy more slots? Iunno haven't played in a long time. Im pretty sure though. Srry D: jst make another character and store your stuff inside their inventory.( if your storage keeper slots were full for a chracter and you made another character(on the same account, you'd be able to get the items from the storage keepr and put it into your chracters inventory instead of.

Description

Storage NPCs (also known as banks/storages within Maplestory) are great places to store and transfer mesos and multiple items between characters. Banks are set-up per account, so all characters share the same storage.

When in the bank, any other character from the same account from the same world can access the items. Therefore, it is a convenient way of switching items amongst your characters. The drawback is that storage can only hold up to 4 items. However, there is no limit to the amount of mesos you wish to store. There is no fee for transferring Mesos into the bank, but there is a fee of 100 mesos for depositing items into the storage, 150 mesos if in El Nath, or 500 mesos at Free Market Entrance. The fee for withdrawal of items is 1000 mesos. In almost every town, there is a Storage NPC.

In MapleSEA, there is a Cash Shop item that adds more slots of Storage NPC. It costs 8,000 A-CASH and one adds 4 extra slots.
In Maple Global, there is also a cash shop item that adds 4 slots to your chosen tab and costs 4,000 Nexon Cash.
Maple Europe has a cash shop item that lets you add 4 extra slots to your storage for 4000 Nexon
