Make Slot Item Ragnarok
TalonRO has pretty much every mid-headgear in-game, and almost all of them can be slotted. Here's how.
To make a slotted mid-headgear, you need one of the base materials, namely Sunglasses (STR category), Contact Lenses (AGI category) and Glasses (INT category). To see which mid-headgears need what base material, please scroll down to the 'The categories' section.
- Additional noteworthy features of Ragnarok Mobile premium. +1 Pet Labor Slot (Free to play players generally occupy Item shop then Cooking center. With the extra slot and Kafra Co unlocked you would receive Big Cat Vouchers, Dyestuffs, Mora Coins and other materials).
- API types You may obtain the IDs either by calling GetInventorySlotInfo, ContainerIDToInventoryID, or from the table below. Note that you should never use these values in AddOns, since they may change. Use GetInventorySlotInfo (invSlotName) to get the current mapping. This list is only meant to be used as a reference for reverse mapping while debugging, or possibly for use in macros.
The base materials
To make a slotted mid-headgear, you need one of the base materials, namely Sunglasses [1] (STR category), Contact Lenses [1] (AGI category) and Glasses [1] (INT category). To see which mid-headgears need what base material, please scroll down to the 'The categories' section.
Each of these items can be acquired through a quest, starting in the Geffen Bar. Go inside the upper right building in the middle part of Geffen, which is located atGeffen(geffen): 136,136. Find an NPC named Hans inside this building at geffen_in 37,123.
He can make one of these items for you, but will require some materialsto make them. These requirements are as follows:
- 1x Glasses[0](INT +1), Sunglasses[0](STR +1) OR Monocle[0](AGI +1) (all buyable from NPCs, consult RMS for NPC location. Note: Monocle[0] is the base ingredient for Contact Lenses[1])
- 2x Each Kind of Transparent Plate: Blue, Green, Orange, Red (a total amount of 8 plates)
- 5x Old Blue Box
- 25x Crystal Mirror
- 30x Steel
- 200x Crystal Fragment
- 1,500,000 Zeny
Note: These base mid-headgears (Sunglasses [1], Glasses [1], Contact Lenses [1]) will not give the stat you desire until Chiqita upgrades it!
The slotted mid-headgears
You can find the NPC to make slotted mid-headgears at prt_in 45,97 (the stat/skill reset building), by the name Chiqita.
All you have to do is bring her a non-slotted version of the headgear you like and one of the base materials (Sunglasses [1], Glasses [1] or Contact Lenses [1]).
Available Mid Headgear
Blinker[1] |
Mini Glasses[1] |
- All mid-headgears other than the base ingredient give DEF + 1, STR/AGI/INT + 1, and has a level 70 minimum requirement
- Items in bold does not have the level 70 minimum requirement
Getting the non-slotted versions
As you will need the non-slotted version of a specific headgear to make a slotted one, you will need a way to get these.Quite some can be bought from NPC's or the Reward Guru, some can be made through quests and some can be dropped by an OBB/OPB.
There is now also a new way to get these, namely by finding a . These boxes are being dropped by Myst Case at a low chance and give you any non-slotted mid-headgear (except some newer ones).

Overview
The NPCsSeiyablem and Leablem allow a player to attempts to add one to 4 slots to a piece of equipment. Each attempts require 1 item, some ores and zeny. If the attempts is failed, item, zeny and ores are lost. Another NPC, Troy, can also attempts to add slots. He requires a Slotting Advertisement and will not break the piece of equipment on failure.
Items listed withoutitalics can be enchanted by Seiyablem at the following locations.
- Lighthalzen: Inside upgrade shop lighthalzen19537 -> (lhz_in02 281, 35)
- Morroc: (51, 41)
- Payon: (140, 151)
- Prontera: Inside upgrade shop prontera175188 -> prt_in3370
Items listed initalics can be enchanted by Leablem at the following locations.
- Lighthalzen: (96, 137)
- Morroc Ruins: (154, 86)
- Payon: (236, 199)
- Prontera: Inside upgrade shop prontera175188 -> prt_in2261
Some items have changes as stated below:
- Tiara/Crown will have INT + 2 option reduced to INT + 1 after receiving a new card socket.
- Ice Pick will have attack power reduced from 80 to 70 after receiving a new card socket.
- Skull Ring will grant a 1% resistance to attacks from the undead race after receiving a new card socket.
Success Chances
The chance of success is unconfirmed. S Grade items are the most difficult to upgrade. The best estimates of success chances are:
- C-Rank: 25%
- B-Rank: 20%
- A-Rank: 15%
- S-Rank: 10%
These rates are only approximate.
The iRO website suggests that certain NPCs will have a better chance of slotting different level weapons or different types or armor. It is unclear whether this reflects game mechanics, and no large samples are available. The increase is rumored to be on the order of 5%.
Rates can be improved by use of the Slot Advertisement item, which is available on iRO through cash shop events which are offered periodically. To use this item, the user must talk to Troy (232,172), in Payon, north of the hammer. The rate of success is increased by an unknown but significant amount, and more importantly, if the attempt fails, the item will not be destroyed. Use of this NPC requires the normal Zeny fee, as well as consuming the Slot Advertisement. The Slot Advertisement and associated NPC is currently only available on iRO.
Forged Weapons
Forged weapons can be used for socket enchanting. However, they will lose their elemental and strength proprieties in the processes the NPC replaces the first weapon with socketed version. For example, a 'ForgerName's Very Strong Ice Claymore' will become a 'Claymore [2]' if the socket enchanting is successful.
